Kindle Reads

So here I am going through my Kindle... My Kindle that I havent cracked the turn on button in months.... and I am looking through it and I say ... "Girl you have some good stuff on here" and so I decided that I would start with my first title.. A great book.. One of my first romance novels.. A Rose in Winter.. by Kathleen Woodwiss.. I am in love with it and it is a lovely read.. I will tell you more once adult me reads it. 

So you are probably wondering what my favorite book is... I think it is a toss up between Anne of Green Gables or Little Women. 

Little Women wins hands down at the last minute!

Communication Communication Communication

Faithful Reader, 

This will be the last post where I address you as such.. Our communication like this has ended.. Maybe our relationship has changed... ? Oh it has.. Reader I am getting a new blog.. A new blog that says "Hey World.. I am Blogging this!" 

Other communication news.... 

1. I left a note saying I wouldnt be able to be somewhere.. The note got lost.. Bad communication skills! 

2. I was going through my emails.. My emails.. Old dusty in the stacks emails and I found one.. A good juicy one that I never replied to.. I replied and I got a REPLY.. Good communication skills! 

3. 1 letter, and 2 cards will be in the mail this week. Again another check on good.

Bad Things

My last post about my mother got me thinking... How on earth do you deal with bad things happening to good people? As I said she didnt deserve this... But God has a plan. A GREAT plan that we can not see. I thought a lot about it... God doesnt have to explain himself to me or to my mother because we are going to be flabbergasted by the results of all that has happened.. and we will bow down, and praise him...

Bad things will happen to us... Bad things happened to Jesus and we are no better.

Faithful Reader, 

So on August 11th my life changed forever. My Mother went into the hospital that morning at 7am, and woke up on August 12th.. about 8pm. My Mother had just been diagnosed about 3 weeks before with a tumor.. A tumor in her head.. A tumor that had to come out, and yesterday. Since that day we have had nothing but agony. Agony for her. She is a beautiful, strong and amazing woman that didnt deserve all this.. Why? We watched her crippled at this surgery, and rehab stint. But she is home now, and we couldnt be happier. Everyday it is like God gives us a new reason to smile at the favors he has bestowed upon us and we are not even worthy. I am thoughtful today because today is 3 months since she left the hospital for rehab, and we are in a new better place. It is still a struggle but we face it together.

Ahh its Wednesday... A day where I am neck deep in my lovely, and God filled church. I have so many things to be thankful for.. and going being in the house of the Lord fills my heart with a grateful spirit. 

I am thankful for.. 

1. Church. A place I can go and be with people who are on my side, and that I can rejoice with. 
2. Family. My beautiful little family that has been through so much and is still together. 
3. Life. 
4. Work. 
5. Happiness.

1. Beautiful blue dress. I am in love with this dress. 

2. New car means needed some little toys to go with it. Car tool kit.

5. Nude heels. Who doesnt need some.

Christmas Cheer

You wouldnt believe this but I am oozing with Christmas cheer... I know what you may be thinking but no it isnt too early. The tree goes up this week.. Why? Because I am too busy to put it up at any other time, and so with that there is nothing else to say. Christmas is a magical time with too many things to speak on besides just this.. So I will have series of posts... Can you wait? I cant!

Thanksgiving Feast

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and on Thursday of this week my school will be having their yearly Thanksgiving feast. Oh reader... We are too excited. Each class is responsible for side dishes and teachers bring desserts... Mine you may ask? Strawberry Shortcake.. Why? Because it is easy... Any other reason? Oh of course because I LOVE it.

Preschool Teach

So I am a preschool teacher... I know doesnt sound fantastic but it truly is. 

Ways you know this... 

1. I have a teacher voice. Dont judge me.
2. I will eat a go go squeeze and feel no shame. 
3. You can find paper construction squares in my pocket 3 days out of 4. 
4. I bring my lunch in a character lunch box. 
5. Baby wipes are a staple to my store shopping list, and I dont have children.
